Nine generously spacious Colonial Suites and two exquisite Honeymoon Suites are luxuriously equipped with air-conditioning, Victorian ball-and-claw bath, indoor and outdoor double shower, fully stocked mini-bar and private verandah. The honeymoon suites enjoy the privacy of their own pools overlooking the bush.
A thatched viewing deck overlooking the active waterhole, and an open plan lounge and bar are ideal places where you can simply relax and soak up the tranquillity of the African bush. The spacious dining room offers stunning views of the bushveld, while enjoying the sumptuous meals.
Beautifully decorated in dark tones of wood and thatch, off-setting the natural colours of the bush, the nine, generously spacious air-conditioned Suites come complete with all luxurious amenities. A Victorian ball-and-claw bath, an indoor and double outdoor shower, as well as a private veranda with a hammock overlooking the bush complete this perfect picture.
For your comfort and convenience, other room amenities include a fully stocked mini-bar, robes, mosquito repellent, an umbrella and hairdryer.
Your suite is also equipped with its own safe and telephone.
Morning and afternoon game drives with knowledgeable rangers in open vehicles. You will be served tea, coffee and biscuits on your morning game drive and drinks and canapés on your afternoon game drive. Your afternoon game drive gets back after dark, which gives you the opportunity to spot our nocturnal animals with a spotlight.
Game Walks through the bush take place just after breakfast, on request. Your knowledgeable ranger guides you through the the smaller aspects of the bush, as well as the fauna and flora of the Timbavati Nature Reserve. This is the best way of experiencing the “finer” aspects of the bushveld. You will be in awe as you discover animal tracks, dung, insects, trees and birds and how they all come together in an intrinsic ecological web of life.
